How We Work
Our goal is to assist with your design project as little or as much as you like. Not every project requires a designer, but many of us need someone to help us see the big picture. Pamela’s professional, friendly manner will help you to have an enjoyable experience working within your budget and coordinating the efforts of architect, builder, and sub-contractors.
The initial consultation fee is $150.00 in the 44145 local area. This meeting is usually done in the clients home and lasts anywhere from one to three hours depending on the project. Clients communicate what it is they would like to accomplish in the home. Measurements are taken and discussions about color preferences, fabrics, layouts, finishes, furniture tastes, time frames, and budgets take place.
The Contract and Planning Phase
A contract is based on the hours it will take to accomplish those goals gathered from the initial consultation. A summary of the hours required for any research, floor plans, furniture selections, fabric and paint determinations, concept drawings or 3-D renderings, creative drawings of cabinetry and window treatments will be included. A presentation is scheduled once the contract is accepted.
Presentation and Ordering
A presentation will include a detailed explanation of the plans for your project. All suggestions will be discussed and reviewed. Changes and adjustments are made to refine the plan and ensure the outcome will be as you envision. Costs and anticipated delivery dates are provided. Upon your approval of all plans, orders are placed with a 50% deposit. Deliveries are scheduled when the items arrive and remaining balances are due at that time.
In-Home Staging and Virtual Staging
Staging is a service to potential home sellers who would like their homes to stand out among the rest. Staging is a low cost way to refresh your home by rearranging furniture, painting, adjusting artwork, organizing and light additions to gain a bigger return on your investment. A $150.00 consultation fee applies in the 44145 local area and a minimum of three hours at $75.00 is required.
Virtual staging is now available as well! Send us a picture and we will stage the image including furniture and finishes. This is a great service for real estate agents to use to impress future buyers.
Online Design Service
This is a new service we offer so you can design your room using our services online, any time and anywhere! Online design starts with you choosing your room. You’ll provide details like budget, likes and dislikes, and upload your room and inspiration photos to email@example.com. Two initial design concepts will be created based on your project details. After you provide feedback, your design is then finalized.
Your final design includes a complete room design, custom floor plan, set-up instructions, and shopping list. The shopping list will be set up for easy shopping in our online store! The fee for this service is $ 1,499.00. Now, no matter where you live, we can provide the same services online that our local clients love so much!
