Gourmet Kitchen Remodel

This country french style gourmet kitchen is the center of the home where a busy family of four meet to catch up on daily events and entertain friends.  The large granite island is great for storage and eliminated the old fashioned L-shaped bank of cabinets. The homeowner wanted a switch from dark cabinets to light with a chocolate colored glaze and keep the stained wood trim to coordinate with the rest of the house.  The window over the sink became the perfect area for a pass through bar into the newly added sun room.  Custom designed tile back splash gives this kitchen a casual but elegant atmosphere.  See more pictures on Houzz !
